A Practical Guide to Subsea Digital Twins for Asset Integrity Teams - FROM 2D VIDEO TO SURVEY-GRADE 3D

I'm really pleased to finally see a no-nonsense practical guide to underwater digital twins. DroneQ Robotics is a highly respected provider of Advanced Unmanned Robotics Services, with whom Intertek has collaborated successfully on many occassions. With the growing need for 3D-based subsea inspection please don't hesitate to either contact me or DroneQ Robotics themsleves to learn more.

This guide is written for asset integrity engineers, ROV/marine coordination leads and inspection planners who are being asked — by insurers, by class societies, by their own management — to move toward 3D-based subsea inspection, and who want a plain, non-promotional account of what it actually involves before they commit a budget line to it. It is deliberately light on marketing language and heavy on the practical questions that determine whether a 3D imaging programme succeeds or quietly gets shelved after the first pilot.
