Early days on the expansion however as a Key Account, Intertek Moody remain available to support the project from Producement through Commissioning and Asset Management.
Shell has taken the final investment decision (FID) on the third phase of its Malikai deepwater development, offshore Sabah, East Malaysia. Malikai, which came on stream in 2016, is Shell’s second deepwater asset in Malaysia after Gumusut-Kakap, and hosts the country's first tension-leg platform, which is installed in a water of 500 metres. Operated by subsidiary Sabah Shell Petroleum Company (SSPC) subsidiary, the third phase project aims to enhance Malikai’s expected recoverable oil volumes as part of Shell’s aim to sustain material liquids production of approximately 1.4 million barrels per day towards 2030 and beyond.
